Publication Ethics
and Malpractice Statement

Committed to the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publication practices.

Responsibilities of Authors +

Originality and Prior Publication
Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published in substantially the same form. Any overlap with previously published work must be clearly disclosed.

Plagiarism and Proper Citation
All sources, quotations, ideas, data, images, and materials from others must be properly cited. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism and unattributed AI outputs, is strictly prohibited. Submissions found to contain significant plagiarism may be rejected, withdrawn from review, or removed from publication.

Data Integrity and Research Ethics
Fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or misrepresentation of data, findings, methods, or sources is a serious breach of academic ethics and may result in rejection or retraction of the paper.

Authorship
All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and approve the final version submitted. Individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

Use of Artificial Intelligence
AI tools may assist with language editing or formatting. However, authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content. AI systems may not be listed as authors.

Responsibilities of Reviewers +

Reviewers should accept assignments only when they have appropriate expertise and no conflict of interest. All manuscripts must be treated as strictly confidential. Reviews should be conducted objectively, fairly, and professionally, focusing on scholarly quality and relevance. Reviewers must complete evaluations within the designated timeframe and promptly notify the Editorial Team of any anticipated delays.

Responsibilities of Editors and the Proceedings Committee +

Fair Evaluation
Submissions will be assessed solely on academic merit, originality, relevance, and contribution to knowledge — without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, or any other personal characteristics.

Confidentiality
Editors and Proceedings Committee members shall maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts, review reports, and editorial communications.

Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions shall be made independently and based on scholarly considerations. Acceptance for conference presentation does not guarantee publication in the proceedings.

Publication Decisions
The Proceedings Editorial Team and Scientific Committee reserve the right to accept, request revisions, or reject submissions based on peer-review outcomes, publication standards, and editorial considerations.

Ethical Violations and Misconduct +

Allegations of plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, authorship disputes, or other misconduct will be investigated. Actions may include:

  • Rejection or withdrawal of the submission
  • Retraction of a published paper
  • Notification to the author's institution
  • Exclusion from future ICA Regional Hub Thailand publication opportunities
