ICA-TH 2026 offers multiple pathways to publish your research —
from peer-reviewed conference proceedings to indexed international
journals and a publicly accessible policy report.
Presenting at ICA-TH 2026 opens doors to recognised academic publication. Whether you seek a conference record, a journal article, or policy impact, we have designed pathways to support every type of scholar.
All accepted full papers are eligible for inclusion in the official digital proceedings, published with DOI assignment by July 2026.
Selected presentations may be considered for submission to Scopus-indexed journals and a special issue on communication inequalities in Southeast Asia.
Key findings from the conference will be synthesised into a publicly accessible policy report for regional governments and civil society organisations.
Authors who submit a full paper will be considered for inclusion in the official ICA-TH 2026 Conference Proceedings, published digitally with DOI assignment from July onwards.
All full papers undergo double-blind peer review by at least two members of the Scientific Programme Committee before acceptance into the proceedings.
Inclusion in the proceedings does not preclude subsequent journal submission. The proceedings serve as a conference record, not a journal publication, and authors retain full rights to submit their work to journals following the conference.
The proceedings will be made openly accessible online, ensuring maximum visibility for all contributing authors.
ICA-TH 2026 is developing a pipeline of journal publication opportunities for outstanding conference submissions. Final editorial decisions rest entirely with independent journal editors.
The programme committee will circulate a curated list of relevant ICA-affiliated journals along with submission guidance at the conference. Authors will receive personalised recommendations based on their research focus.
The official peer-reviewed quarterly journal of the Asian Network for Public Opinion Research (ANPOR). Conference presenters may submit for standard consideration; editors may extend invitations to selected presenters for expedited review.
The Faculty of Communication Arts journal, published by Chulalongkorn University. Selected works with strong regional focus may be considered for this publication in partnership with conference co-hosts.
The organising committee is in discussion with a partner journal regarding a dedicated special issue on communication inequalities in Southeast Asia. Authors whose work is a strong fit will be notified following the conference.
A 20–30 page publicly accessible policy report synthesising key research findings and recommendations from the conference.
Published: 30 September 2026The organising committee will produce the Bangkok Hub Report, a publicly accessible synthesis of the conference's most significant research findings and policy recommendations.
The report is intended for circulation to policymakers, regional governments, civil society organisations, and ICA leadership — ensuring that scholarship from ICA-TH 2026 drives real-world impact beyond the academic community.
